From 1 August 2020, Yves Vollenweider will step into the position of Managing Director of hostettler moto ag, a branch network of six motorcycle retail stores in Switzerland.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n

As Exhibition Manager of Swiss-Moto for many years and before that as Marketing Manager of the motorcycle business of BMW (Switzerland) AG, Yves Vollenweider (47) is intimately familiar with the industry and very well connected within the motorcycle community. As Managing Director of hostettler moto ag Vollenweider will be responsible at the strategic level for the long-term development of the six branches in Sursee, Lucerne, Eschenbach, Fribourg, Sion and Bern. These branches are part of the official Yamaha dealer network. At the same time, the location in Bern is also a Ducati dealer for region.<\/p>\n

For the past twelve years, Yves Vollenweider served as Swiss-Moto\u2019s exhibition manager at MCH Group. Earlier he was with BMW (Switzerland) AG for approximately seven years, first as a project manager and later in charge of the marketing for BMW Motorcycles. After his apprenticeship as a motorcycle mechanic Yves Vollenweider acquired valuable experience in the position of technical collaborator\/warranties and product management at OFRAG and Derendinger AG. His favourite leisure activities – spending time in the workshop and riding motorcycles – prove that motorized two-wheelers and the smell of motor oil are a vital part of his life.<\/p>\n
