Action-packed shows
The big highlight was the Swiss premiere of the trial bike world star Danny MacAskill. He thrilled the crowds with his mates Duncan Shaw and John Langlois and their tricks. Swiss FMX legend Mat Rebeaud on his electric crosser and other freestylers also showed their skills. In the audience vote, MacAskill and Rebaud were deservedly crowned the “Kings of Hoschi Days”. There were also breathtaking stunt shows by the Trial Circus Tour and BMX Flatland action by Chris Böhm.
Varied hostettler Brand World
In addition to the attractive shows, the companies of the hostettler group presented themselves with their most important brands and products. “We succeeded in merging the hostettler group’s Brand World and its different brands and worlds and showing them in a cross-divisional way. Some people were surprised by the diversity – the hostettler group offers everything from motorcycles, drones, clothing and bikes to spare parts and accessories,” says Raymond Wapf, Managing Director of hostettler ag and President of the organising committee. On the brand mile, the trendiest products from all sectors were on display, explained and shown in action – in some cases personally by the respective suppliers. The entire Yamaha test fleet as well as the new Yamaha eBikes and bikes from BiXS were actively tested.
Motorsport stars to touch
Well-known names from the racing community followed the call from Sursee and mobilised the masses. First and foremost was racing legend Giacomo Agostini, who won an incredible 15 world championship titles and 122 Grand Prix victories during his career. The 125 cc GP world champion Tom Lüthi and the Swiss GP 500 veteran Philippe Coulon as well as all the athletes of the motorcycle and bike shows were within reach of their fans during the autograph sessions.
