What once began many years ago as a project by enthusiasts – supported by grandma’s sewing machine – has since established itself as a major brand in the freeride community. Designed and manufactured by bikers for bikers, Platzangst brand stands for functional, durable and comfortable mountain bike clothing for men and women.
With the motto ‘We ride free’, Platzangst develops advanced, functional clothing for freeriders, endurance cyclists and mountain bikers with a sense of adventure who like to explore new terrain. The Platzangst range includes functional clothing such as cycling shorts, jackets, jerseys and t-shirts, through to casual clothing for everyday.
As of 2016, the company, with its registered office in Berlin, became part of the Swiss hostettler group.
