Renaming of Freidig Moto-Actve gmbh to motoactive gmbh
From 1 September 2022, Freidig Moto-Active GmbH, a leading supplier for the specialised motorcycle trade in Switzerland, will be doing business under its new name, motoactive gmbh. After the acquisition by the hostettler group in 2019 the wholesale company has evolved. motoactive will be present in the market under the management of Hans Felder with an attractive brand portfolio and a sharpened product range.
Hoschi Days 2022 – a great success for the moto and bike event
The hostettler group’s “Hoschi Days” on 21 and 22 May in Sursee offered visitors a great deal of action, entertainment and fun, with the presence of prestigious guests from international motorcycle racing and other big names in FMX, Trials and Bike. Around 8,500 people of all ages enjoyed a varied programme!

hostettler gmbh, which is part of the Swiss hostettler group and has its headquarters in Müllheim (Germany), specialises in the distribution of a comprehensive range of products for the European motorcycle and scooter trade. There has now been a change in the management of hostettler gmbh.
BiXS Performance Race Team
With «Mission 25», the new BiXS Performance Race Team starts the 2022 racing season with the aim of achieving national and international racing success. The team is already focusing on a successful participation in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris and the 2025 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in the canton of Valais, Switzerland.

Constantly growing market demand for bicycles, accessories and spare parts has prompted intercycle ag to outsource its warehousing and logistics services to Zibatra Logistik AG as from January 2022. This move steps up the existing collaboration between the companies. No redundancies will be announced.
New logistics centre for hoco online and Sports Nut
hoco online gmbh and Sports Nut GmbH are both active in the bike and action sports segments. These two companies have now commissioned a new logistics centre in Berlin-Schönefeld. The centre’s 5,500 square metres of rented storage space will be available for goods receiving, shipping, returns, assembly and customer service. From now on, B2C orders placed with the online trader BMO and the own brands “Platzangst” and “iXS Sports” will be shipped all over the world from this facility.

In the annual Swiss Employer Ranking of the newspapers “Handelszeitung” and “Le Temps”, the hostettler group occupies a podium position with 3rd place in the category “Automotive and vehicle manufacturing”.
iXS wins 2021 Design & Innovation Award
The Women’s Carve Hip-Hugger Shorts by iXS was awarded the top podium position in the 2021 Design & Innovation Award. These bike shorts, specifically designed for women, won the coveted prize within the “Equipment Offroad” category.
New hostettler moto ag branch in Zurich South
From 1 January 2021, hostettler moto ag takes over the site of the motorcycle store, Arrigoni Sport GmbH in Adliswil (ZH). The current business structure will continue under the name “hostettler moto ag | Zürich Süd” with the existing workforce and a slightly adapted array of brands.
