As part of his succession plan, owner Emil Weber is handing over the site of the Emil Weber Motos AG motorcycle store in Rümlang (ZH) to hostettler moto ag – a subsidiary of the hostettler group based in Sursee (LU) – with effect from 1 January 2024. Emil Weber remains the lessor of the shop. All employees will continue to be employed.
Under the name “hostettler moto ag | Zürich Nord”, the business in Rümlang joins the hostettler moto ag branch network as its eighth location. The previous brand representations of Kawasaki, KTM, Bimota, Husqvarna and GASGAS will be continued. The dealership of other motorcycle and scooter brands is currently being evaluated. New additions are the vehicles of the Yamaha brand and the proven range of the hostettler group’s clothing, accessories and accessories divisions.
About Emil Weber Motos AG
The one-man business was founded in 1989 in Rüti-Winkel (ZH) by Emil Weber, a 23-year-old skilled motorbike mechanic at the time, and has been active as a Kawasaki brand dealership ever since. In 1994, the company moved to larger premises in Winkel-Seeb (ZH). In 2000, the representation of KTM vehicles was taken over. Since November 2007, Emil Weber Motos AG and its 18 employees have been working in its 2,600 square metre facility in Rümlang (ZH).
