The hostettler group acquired Freidig Moto-Active GmbH, headquartered in Sumiswald (Switzerland), effective 1 January 2019. The company is a wholesaler of motorcycle apparel and accessories as well as replacement parts for the specialised motorcycle retailers in Switzerland. After Heinz and Eveline Freidig retired from the company in November 2020, former sales manager Hans Felder assumed the overall business management.
The new company name, motoactive gmbh, was purposely derived from the founding company and is now written in lower case, but the head office will remain at the current address (Eystrasse 34, 3454 Sumiswald, Switzerland).
The management team subsequently realigned its product range strategy and thus sharpened its profile as a specialised brand provider. With its understanding of trends and specific customer needs, the motoactive gmbh team offers a product range comprising leading and growth brands in line with demand.
Hans Felder, General Manager of motoactive gmbh, summarises: “We have renamed our company, but we are still the same dedicated team striving for the same goals: With our exclusive, authentic brands for rider and vehicle equipment, we want to be a successful provider of products with exceptional individuality, design, functionality and quality for the end customers. We will continue to serve our specialised retailers as a reliable partner with competent, personal advice, excellent product availability and fast delivery.”
